This position is responsible for supporting the planning, execution, and tracking of marketing initiatives that promote all Coca Cola (KO) products and events in the domestic market. This role plays a key part in brand awareness, customer engagement, in-store activation and retail/wholesale support in the market. This role is 30% strategic and 70% in market activation/execution. A passion for the job and proactive in-market skills is essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Campaign Support: Assist in developing and executing marketing campaigns.
- Event & Tasting Execution: Assist in planning and executing festivals, events, sponsorships, and product tastings at the off-trade.
- Brand Management: Ensure all materials and communications are aligned with brand standards.
- Promotional Materials: Assist in the design, production, and distribution of point-of-sale (POS) materials. Important the sales/merchandiser teams have sufficient POS material/novelties in the market at all times.
- Market Research: Track competitor activity, consumer trends, and provide insights to support strategic planning.
- Collaboration: Work closely with sales and external vendors (designers, printers, etc.) to get POS materials as planned.
- Market Visits: Plan and execute weekly market visits to ensure all materials (racks, coolers, POS, etc.) are in line with the company’s expectations. Feedback in terms of where you visited and what opportunities you have seen must be communicated to the marketing manager.
- Budget: Ensure your monthly expenses are within the company’s annual budget/business plan.
General Responsibilities

- Ensure and maintain a neat and organized workplace. Referring to the Desk Policy.
- Responsible for maintaining your administrative tasks e.g. PO’s, expenses, etc. in a timely manner.
- Report any irregularity immediately concerning safety, food safety and quality to your manager.
- Maintain good working relations and good communications with other departments at all times, to ensure smooth operations within the departments.
- Comply with the procedures stipulated in the Employee Handbook.
Job profile
Level of Education: Degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field. Bachelor’s is a plus.
Experience: Minimum 1 year experience in marketing, trade marketing or event execution.
Competencies & skills:
- Good written, oral communication and time management skills.
- Strong social skills, an aptitude for interpersonal relationship-building and negotiating.
- Highly motivated, reliable, and trustworthy.
- Languages: Proficiency in the English and Papiamento. Dutch and Spanish are helpful.
