Function Description:
The Industrial IEE Technician performs technical, industrial, electrical and electro-mechanical equipment operation and maintenance work. The employee is responsible for the installation, operation, repair, calibration, troubleshooting, and maintenance of electric, pneumatic, electro-mechanical and Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) that control industrial machinery. All work performed requires the highest and in compliance with local & international codes, OEM standards and HSE regulations.
Job Qualifications:
- EPI or MTS ( Electrical & Electronics) Diploma.
- Good general Electro-Mechanical Skills and knowledge.
- Minimum 3-year experience in a relevant field position
- Be a good team player, motivated and reliable.
- Able to work independent and with a goal oriented attitude
- Good verbal & written communication skills in Papiamento, English and Dutch
- Able to work flexible hours.
Positions Responsibilities:
- Install, repair and maintain all cables, motors, transformers, generators, lighting and all other electronic equipment, including Solar Panel Systems.
- Performs a variety of electrical tests to determine the root cause of electrical malfunctions.
- Study plans, drawings, specifications and work orders to determine work requirement and sequence of repairs a/o installations.
- Repair and maintain low and high voltage systems.
- Assemble, install, test and maintain electrical cables, equipment, appliances and fixtures.
- Diagnose malfunctioning of machinery and components to identify hazards, defect and need to adjust or repair.
- Inspect electrical system, equipment and components to identify hazards, defects and the need of adjustment or repair, and to ensure compliance with international standard and OEM specifications.
- Program Siemens step 7, STL, FBD, LAD
- Profibus, PILZ safety bus & AS-I bus network skills.
