Aruba has more days of sunshine than any other island in the Caribbean, and TripAdvisor’s #1 beach in the Caribbean (and #3 in the world!) is Eagle Beach, located along the west coast of the One Happy Island. In addition to Eagle Beach, Aruba boasts breathtaking stretches of powdery white sands rimmed by brilliant azure seas all along its stunning coastline. So what better place to soak up island vibes and enjoy a quintessential beach bar experience than right here on Aruba? With dozens of spots to soak up those seaside island vibes, we’re highlighting four of our favorites to kick back, relax, and enjoy an ice-cold Chill, Aruba’s celebrated beach beer.
By day, this beach bar, located on the end of De Palm Pier on Palm Beach, showcases overwater views of the Caribbean Sea and the lively, action-packed beach where a bevy of watersports and sailing excursions are enjoyed. By night, some of Aruba’s most popular local bands and deejays entertain a crowd of both locals and visitors to the island.
There’s nothing like the refreshing citrus notes of an ice-cold Chill combined with Bugaloe’s fresh ceviche or grilled grouper wrap. Check out their menu here.
Known simply as Beach Bar, Divi Resorts operates this chic beachside bar and restaurant located on Druif Beach (next to Eagle Beach). With two daily happy hours (2pm-3pm and 5pm to 6pm), enjoying the seaside vibes is twice as nice!
Stay for a bite to eat…the watermelon baby back ribs with island cole slaw are just as tasty as they are unique, and the surf-and-turf burger, loaded with shrimp and cheddar cheese, is a memorable munch! Check out their menu on the Divi Resorts dining page here.
When you’re sipping Aruba’s beach beer at a beach bar on TripAdvisor’s #1 beach in the Caribbean, you’ve got the trifecta of island experiences at Coco Loco Beach Bar & Restaurant. Sip the afternoon away on the deck or wiggle your toes in the sand at one of the shaded seating areas located right on the beach. Weekends are extra lively at this local hangout where some of the island’s best performers are featured.
Grab a basket of fried butterflied shrimp, calamari, or fresh whole snapper and your beach day is complete! Discover more about Coco Loco Beach Bar & Restaurant here.
One of Aruba’s lesser-known beaches is Surfside, located just south of downtown Oranjestad. Reflexions Beach Bar & Restaurant is a beach club offering all the essentials for the perfect beach day, including beach chairs, lounges, comfy beach mattresses, umbrellas, and beach beds with tents. There’s even a pool, WIFI, and showers for added comfort and convenience.
Refelxions features one of the largest beach-bar menus, with a bevy of appetizers, wraps and salads, burgers and paninis, and main courses for lunch and dinner. Check out their menu and beach rentals here.
